BRUSHTON – Martha M. Sample, 78, passed away May 16, 2017 at her home surrounded by the love of her family. Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira.
Born May 1, 1939, in Santa Clara, NY the daughter of late Frank and Beatrice (Barlow) Sochia. She was educated locally. September of 1956 she united ito marriage with Howard Greenwood, he predeceased her in 1965. Later she joined a union with Reginald Sample May of 1983, he predeceased her in 1991.
Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of her companion of 20 years Ronald J. LaPage and her four daughters; Tina Lucey of Brushton, Regina Brabon of Lyndonville, Donna Nichols and her companion Randy Ryan fo Moira, Marilea (Timothy) Mainville of Ft Covington. Also surviving her are her fifteen grandchildren, five step grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren, three great great granchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by a sister Janice Brabon, and a brother Curtis Sochia during his infancy.
At one time Martha was bowled on the Bowling Bells league, and the Ladies Pool league. She enjoyhed spending time with her family and friends, playing cards sitting by the camp fire, and listening to country music.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
