OGDENSBURG – With heavy hearts the family of Sally M. Prue, 89, announce her passing on Sunday (Feb. 4, 2018) at the Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family. Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira.
Born June 29, 1928 in Malone, NY the daughter of the late William & Mildred (Supernault) Nicklaw. She was a 1946 graduate of Franklin Academy. In August of 1952 Sally united into marriage with Percy Prue. Sally was a devoted spouse, mother, and homemaker. She had a passion for animals especially cats. Sally enjoyed spending time playing parlor games, sports and spending time with family and friends. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Brushton, where she also taught and assisted with catechism program.
In addition to her parents and husband, a grandson Bradley Evans predeceased her in 2004.
Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of her children Christine Gollinger of Massena, Marlene Prue of Lake Placid, Karen Jobin of Massena, Bradley (Simona) Prue of Baltimore, MD, Michael Prue of Fulton, NY and Terri (Ron) Clark of Potsdam. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday (Feb. 9, 2018) 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Brushton, with the Rev. Raymond Moreau presiding. Interment will be held May 11, 2018, 9 a.m. in the parish cemetery.
