Obituary of Bernard Gilbow
MOIRA – Bernard R. Gilbow, Jr. 58, passed away at his home Monday (March 20, 2017) surrounded by the love and support of his family. Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira.
Funeral Services will be held at Friday 6p.m at the Flint Funeral Home Friday (March 24)
Bernard was born in Potsdam August 11, 1958, the son of Bernard R. & Marjorie (Dibble) Gilbow, Sr. he attended Franklin Accadomy, Malone. March 30, 1990 Bernard united into marriage with Cindy Malcomson. For 15 years he worked for Bombardier, Roberts Sports Center, later he was partners in TLC heating company.
Bernard loved anything to do with the outdoors from hunting, fishing to start gazing he found much peace. However he enjoyed every moment spent with his family, friends and his grandchildren.
Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of his wife Cindy, his children Bernard R. Gilbow III and his companion Eileen Cook of Bombay, Lynn Trim and her companion Chris Gallagher of Moira, Eric R. Gilbow and his fiance' Amanda Hughes of Dannemora. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren Lucas Hughes, Shawn Robideau, Trinity Hughes, Marissa Trimm, Cloe Cook, Autumn Gilbow, Nayomie Gallagher, Selena Gallagher, and many nieces and nephews.
His siblings Sharon (Ronald) Goyea of Brandon, Betty Yaddow of Constable, step siblings Dwayne (Betty) Gilbo and Richard Gilbo of Connecticut survive him.
Besides his parents he is predeceased by two sisters Deborah Gilbow and Bernetta Gilbow.
Memorial contributions in Bernards honor may be made to the Moira Methodist Church.
