Your mom was always smiling and would say "well now" all the time. She will be missed by all..Betty and Fred Winchell
I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family of Corleen Demers over the loss of your dear loved one. May you find comfort and peace in the words of our loving Heavenly Father at Isaiah 25:8. There he promises to "swallow up death forever, and ... will wipe away the tears from all faces." He invites you to "throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)
Mom, you are gone too soon. We were not ready to say good bye. We are grateful that God sent you to be our mother. You were our rock. The soother and comforter. The one with great wisdom. A kind, caring and gentle soul freely giving lots of love, hugs, kisses and "I love you" more times than I can ever count. Just to hear your voice once more.... Rest now in God's comforting arms. I will hold you dear to my broken heart that will mend in time by cherished memories of you. Love you beyond words.
I really don’t know what to say- we just lost her sister, Harriet , the day before, her passing. Sadness surrounds me - I’m so glad I stopped in to see her, & Alice, this last summer. No matter where I was, or whom I was with- when Corleen saw me, she’d make a point of letting me know she was there! Always smiling- I regret that I didn’t find the tape recording of her, & my Mom, along with other family members, singing. Timing was bad, as I had just lost my Husband, & time just slipped away from me! I know she understood- she told me, “it takes time, Phil, “. How right she was! I’ll miss her, & her sister- two great souls, to be placed in His arms- to spread joy & laughter though out all of Heaven! Fly High! Love always!
I was sad to hear of Aunt Corleen's passing. Although I am unable to come home for the services, please know that the family is in my thoughts and prayers. I will treasure the memories that I have had with Aunt Corleen, and be content with the fact that she will now be together with both her sisters again.
