DICKINSON CENTER - George Dewey Soulier IV, 56, passed away unexpectedly Thursday (August 12, 2021) at his home. Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira. Born September 27, 1964, in New Orleans, Louisiana the son of George D and Beverly (Pearson) Soulier III. In 1996 George enlisted into the United States Navy. During his military carrier he was awarded the Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. He was honorably discharged in 2008. October 10, 2003, he united into marriage with Arlene Loibl in Orange Park Florida. The couple relocated to the north country in 2008. George loved going to the casino, and singing karaoke Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of his wife Arlene, his stepmother Mary Troulliett of Bude Mississippi, his mother and father-in-law Edmund & Edna Loibl of Fort Covington, a brother Tommy (Debra) Sparks of Reserve Louisiana, a sister Betty (Chris) Celino of Mississippi, sister-in-law Jolene Soulier of Glendale Arizona, and his black lab Prince his beagle Rascal and his 5 cats Gizmo, Mickey, Peanut, Midnight, Digger and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents he is predeceased by two brothers Gene and Bowen a sister-in-law Ruth Trumper and a brother-in-law Edmund Loibl, Jr. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in George's honor may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or to one's local ASPCA.
