Obituary of Richard R. McQuinn

Malone - With heavy hearts, the family of Richard R. "Hawkeye" McQuinn, 60, announce his passing on August 4, 2018. Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira. Born July 16, 1958 in Malone the son of Clifford M. & Ann (Riley) McQuinn. He was a graduate of Brushton-Moira Schools. He married Lynn Martin the couple were blessed with two daughters Julia and Jennifer. Later the couple parted. Richard worked in Security for Bank of America in Albany for many years. He was a member of the Red Cross, Advanced First Aid – CPR instructor, Brushton Vol. Fire, Constable Vol Fire Dept., member of the Lions Club International here in Malone and in Albany and Keyser, West Virginia. Hawkeye was an avid pool player, bowler, fisherman, and in the last few years he enjoyed restoring his PT Cruiser. Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of his parents Clifford & Ann McQuinn, and his daughters; Julia Shobe and companion Brandon Harvey of Keyser, WV, Jennifer and Cody Riggleman of Bedford, PA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Kohl, Cooper and Briella Shobe of Keyser, WV, Jenneen Divelbliss and June Kesecker of Bedford, PA A brother Fred (Deb) McQuinn of Brushton, and a sister Sheila (Otie) LaRock of North Bangor survive him. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Herbert Roy & Grace (Dumas) McQuinn and his maternal grandparents Grover & Elsie Claudia (Weller) Riley. Respecting Hawkeye's wishes a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
