Obituary of Ashley Jock

Ashley Marie Jock of Moira, NY passed away on January 10, 2019 at the age of 31 from a long battle of cancer at her grandmother's home surrounded by her loving family and dear friends.

Ashley was born on an Air Force Base in Tokyo, Japan on June 3, 1987, the daughter of Melodie (Caswell) Jock, who passed in 1997.

Ashley graduated from Salmon River Central High School in 2006 where she was involved in numerous school activities and sports including swimming, cheering and was very involved in FFA. Ashley was the Franklin County Dairy Princess in 2004.

Ashley was known for being the life of the party, doing everything Ashley style. She had an amazing smile that brightened any room. She was a "jack" of all trades. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing and anything to do with crafting. She also had a love for farming and she took great pride in showing cows throughout many county and state fairs.

Ashley loved spending time with family and her friends. She enjoyed camping, four wheeling and was an avid Boston Bruins fan. Regardless of battling cancer for 16 years, she never complained and had a zest for life.

Ashley was most recently employed by Bub Enterprises in Malone, NY.

Ashley was predeceased by her mother Melodie Jock, son at infancy, Oren Leo Hess, brother Daniel Jock, grandfather Ernest Jock, Sr., grandfather Daniel Caswell and an Aunt, Pamela Dana.

She is survived by her chosen parents Christopher and Raelene Demers and step brother John Winot of Woodsville, NH and her paternal grandmother Carrie Jock and Uncle David Jock of Brushton, NY. Maternal grandparents Robert and Bonnie Poor of Bath, NH, Sister-in-Law Megan Jock-White and nephews Matthew and Joey Jock, niece Jaylynn Jock of Woodsville, NH, Aunts Christine (Jock) & Uncle Jon Fleury of Florida and Angela (Caswell) and Uncle Neil Borger of NH, Uncles Chester Caswell and companion Didi Lang of VT and Daryl and Marisa Dana of NY as well as many cousins and friends.
