Obituary of Orlin Villnave
MOIRA – With heavy hearts the family of Orlin Villnave, 84, announce his passing on Friday morning (July 19, 2019) at his home. Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira.
Born August 12, 1934 in Moira the son of Floyd & Erissa (Jenkins) Villnave. . On September 23, 1961 Orlin united into marriage with Janet M. Russell at St. Mary's Church Brushton, with Fr. Richards presided. Janet predeceaced him on April 29, 2013. For over 29 years he was employed with the Reynolds Metals Company as a craneman. Orlin enjoyed his hobby farm as well as hunting and fishing. He became quite competative when it came to his passion for racing his cars especially at the Ft. Covington Speedway, and the Cornwall Speedway. He loved to socialize, and spend time with his family and friends. Because with Orlin if "family is good all is good".
Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of his children Lisa Jackson of Moira, Mary (Michael) Simmons of S. Carolina, and Joseph (Sandy) Villnave of Moira. Also surviving him are 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
His sibings David Villnave of Brushton, and Mary Patane of Syracuse and many nieces nephews and cousins survive him.
Besides his parents and wife he is predeceaed by a sister Betty Phillips.
A time of visitation will be held Thursday (July 26th) from 4-7 at the Flint Funeral Home, Moira. A graveside service will commence Friday morning at 10 a.m at the Sandhill Cemetery, Dickinson.
