Obituary of Stanley R. Countryman
CONSTABLE - With heavy hearts, the family of Stanley R. Countryman, 64, announce his unexpected passing on Thursday (November 14, 2019). Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira.
Born October 17, 1955 in Saranac Lake the son of Stanley and Mary (Bradley) Countryman. He served in the United State Army where he was awarded the Parachute Badge, National Defense Service Medal, and the Expert Badge M-16. February 29, 1976 Stanley united into marriage with Debra A. Downer.
Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of his wife Debra, and his children. Stanley Richard Countryman, Jr., Sarah Porter both of Burke, Aron Countryman of Bangor, Marie Norris of Brushton, Kurtis Countryman, Lee Lamitie and Betty Jo Lamitie of Malone. He is also surivived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
His siblings Ellen Rogers, Beverly Boardway, John Mintch, Nancy Williams, Marjorie Gaulin, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins survive him.
Besides his parents he is predeceased by his grandson Richard "Richie" Countryman who recently passed on Oct. 24, 2019, along with his six siblings Mary Alice Carlevale, Betty Lou Lester, Carol Olszewski, Roberta Mashtara, Linda Richards, and William Mintch.
A time of visitation will be held Wednesday November 20th from 11-12:45 at the Flint Funeral Home. Funeral services will commence at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Juanita Brooks presiding.
