BANGOR – It is with great sadness that the family of Esther M. Kingston, 90, announce her passing on Monday Jan. 20, 2020 with her family at her side. Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira. Born April 7, 1929, in Brushton the daughter of the late John & Gertrude (Clark) Cox. She was the second oldest of 15 children, they were known as "The Cox Army". Esther attended Brushton High School. While working in Saranac Lake she saw Patrick Kingston from across the room. She knew that she would be his forever bride. She united into marriage with Patrick on August 23rd 1960, however he later predeceased her. Beside her parents she is predeceaced by brothers Donald, Owen, Basil, Billy, Leonard, Larry, Gary, and two sisters Nella and Faye. Her family was very musical, Esther played the guitar and sang. Se wrote music and even made demos. She loved her Gardens and watching the birds. She crafted and was always working on something new. She enjoyed traveling and being with her family, playing games or cards. Treasured memoires will be forever in the hearts of her children Bonnie (Peter) Holland, Catherine (David) Weaver, Cindy (John) Armitage, David Kingston (Companion Annet), and Carol (Terry Butchino) McCaffrey. She is also survied by many grandchilren and great grandchildren of whom she loved dearly. Her siblings Joella, Nancy, Andy and Clarence survive her. And sister-in-law Dorothy. SERVICES – A time of visition will be held Monday Jan 27th from 4-5:45p.m. at the Flint Funeral Home. Esthers funeral services will commence at 6 p.m with the Rev. Juanetta Brooks presiding. Friends and family are welcomed to celebrate Esther's life further at the American Legion following services. Memorial contributions in Esther's honor may be made to the Brushton-Moira Senior Citizens Center, 1328 Washington Street, Brushton, NY 12916. In lew of cut flowers, consider potted plants to create a living memorial in honor of Esther. Condolences may be shared with the family at
