Obituary of Ann M. Gratton

MOIRA-With heavy hearts the family of Ann M. Gratton, 76, announces her passing on Monday (April 13, 2020) at CVPH. Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira. Born September 15, 1943 in Malone the daughter of the late Grant & Bernice (Deon) Tower. She attended Brushton High School. In 1963 Ann united into marriage with Anthony Gratton he predeceased her on March 31, 2008. For ten years she was employed with Tru-Stich, retiring from ALCOA in 2001. Ann was quick witted and added spice to the family tree. She had a passion for horses and her dogs. Ann was not shy to work and could always be seen cleaning her house, however in her downtime she enjoyed “Search-A-Word” puzzle books. Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of her children Poppy Gratton of Moira, Anthony Gratton of Moira, Grant (Amy) Gratton of West Virginia, and Anita (Gary) White of Tennessee. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Her sister Candy Towers of Malone also survives her. A graveside service will be held May 8, 2020, 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery with the Fr. Alfred Fish presiding. Please consider a memorial contribution in Ann’s honor to your local humane society.
