Along with several families he founded and was the pastor of the Maranatha Bible Church in Constable. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and studying his Bible. He held many Bible studies in his home over the years. He had a strong faith and enjoyed sharing it. He also had a love for his collie dogs and calico cats. Special memories will be forever in the hearts of his two sons and one daughter-in-law, Larry Hazen of Moira, Glen (Darlene) Hazen of Moira, four daughters and three sons-in-law, Judy (Joseph) Patnode of Plattsburgh, Nancy (Don) LaTray of Moira, Connie Baker of Brushton, Dawn (Dennis) Reardon of Bombay.
