MOIRA – Dora Ann (LaBaff) Trimm, 75, was born again into her new life on Thursday, October 21, 2021. She was surrounded and comforted with her loving family at her side. Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira. Dora Ann was born October 11, 1945, in Potsdam the daughter of Ernest & Dora (Perry) LaBaff, Sr. She was a 1965 graduate of Potsdam High School. Dora Ann united into marriage with Fletcher Trimm on June 2, 1973, at the Potsdam Presbyterian Church, and later the couple renewed their wedding vows at St. Mary's Church, Brushton. At one time she was employed as a secretary for Elliot Hardwood, Potsdam for five years, and later at the Slater Food service on the Clarkson campus. Although she was a secretary for many years, making sure her home was filled with love was her main priority. Dora Ann loved to cook and was known for making the best sugar cookies and the most delicious macaroni salad. She enjoyed the outdoors and four-wheeling and was an active member of First Christian Church. She taught Release Time at her church for many years, was a mentor to many as well as a prayer warrior. Throughout life's many challenges, she never lost sight of who her Lord and savior is, and the many blessings He had bestowed in her life. Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of her husband Fletcher, and her children Dale (Penny) Trimm of Hemlock, NY, Timmy (Susan) Trimm of Moira, Jennifer Dow of Syracuse, and Michele (John) Trimm-Ianuzelli of Malone. She is also survived by her grandchildren Joshua (Emily) Dow, Sara Dow, Taylor Trimm, Danielle Trimm, Kristyn Trimm and Evan Ianuzelli. Her siblings Ernest LaBaff, Jr. of Norwood, Lesa Ford of Lynchburg, VA, Janet McCarger of Syracuse, and many nieces and nephews survive her. Besides her parents she is predeceased by a brother Roy LaBaff. A time of visitation will be held Saturday, October 30 from 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. at the First Christian Church, 45 Delancy Ave, Brushton, NY. Funeral services honoring Dora Ann will be held at 12 noon.
