Obituary of Norman B. Dibble

Dickinson – Norman B. Dibble, 71, passed away Tuesday evening (Nov. 9, 2021) at his home with the love of his family at his side. A time of visitation will be held Monday evening (Nov. 15) from 6-8 at the Flint Funeral Home, Moira. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday (Nov. 16) at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, St. Regis Falls. Interment will commence in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Chateauguay. Norman was born in Chateauguay on January 21, 1950, the son of Harold and Marcella (Morgan) Dibble. He graduated from Chateauguay High School in 1969. On October 4, 1969, Norman united into marriage with Linda Guerin at the Holy Angels Church, Altona. He retired from Kraft Foods, North Lawrence after 33 years of service. From 2005-2020 Norman was employed with Maple Leaf Housing maintaining the housing facility. He was a communicant of St. Ann's Church and was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus Council #732. Norman was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed building, fixing things, and working outdoors, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, whom he loved dearly. Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of his wife of 52 years Linda, and his children Sean Dibble of Moira, Serena (Charles) Blackmer of Londonderry, NH, and Nathan Dibble of Lilburn, GA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Leia'lani, Anthony Dibble; Alexandra, Ian, Juliana, Clara, Madeleine Blackmer. His siblings Harold Dibble, Jr. of Moira, Diana (James) Botsford of Salem, AL, and Francis Dibble of Malone survive him. He is predeceased by his parents Harold and Marcella Dibble.
