MOIRA – Edward E. Scarafone, 73, passed away Wednesday (Nov. 24, 2021) at CVPH.
A time of visitation will be held Sunday (Dec. 5) from 3-4:45 p.m. at the Flint Funeral Home, Moira. Funeral Services will commence at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Edward was born December 8, 1947, in Obernzell, Germany the son of Edward & Ruth (Mannsbart) Scarafone. He lived in Staten Island and graduated from Curtis H high School in 1965. Edward was enlisted in the Army August 13, 1967. During his enlistment he served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. He was honorably discharged in 1973. Edward attended a Mechanical Trade school for Dentistry and became a denturist. July 2013 Edward united into marriage with Sharon Miller VanVu.
Edward enjoyed traveling, riding his motorcycle and was an avid new car enthusiast.
Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of his wife Sharon VanVu Scarafone, and his stepchildren Amy (Justin) Grigg of Nashua, NH, Lan VanVu of Malone, and Khai VanVu and his fiancé Lily Fritz of Allentown, NH. He is also survived by 5 step grandchildren.
Besides his parents he is predeceased by a brother during his infancy.
Memorial contributions in Edward's honor may be made to one's local Wounded Worriers Veterans Association.
