Obituary of Wanda Jean Trim
BRUSHTON – Wanda Jean Trim age 94 passed away Monday evening (June 6, 2022) at the Massena Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born Aug. 20, 1927, in Lawrenceville the daughter to the late Lawrence and Myrtle (Thomas) Riley. On December 25, 1946, Wanda united into marriage with Harold Trim in Lake Placid. He predeceased her on February 20, 1974. For many years she was employed at the Bea Jay Manufacturing as a seamstress, retiring December of 1988. Wanda enjoyed listening to old time country music as well as square dancing. She loved a challenging crossword puzzle, and bowling where she was a member of the Senior Bowling League in Malone. Traveling with her sister Jane and her many friends was always a memorable moment in Wanda's life. Together they went as far as Branson Missouri to attend a country music concert. Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of her children Gary (Gini) Trim of Clifton Park, Bruce (Linda) Trim of Malone, and Linda (Ray) Shova of North Bangor. Also, surviving her are her grandchildren Stacy Jewtraw & Matthew Trim, and Brad Shova, along with many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents and husband, two brothers Ward Riley, Gene Riley, and a sister Jane LaVare predecease her. A time of visitation will be held Saturday (June 11, 2022) from 2-2:45 p.m. at the Flint Funeral Home, Moira where her funeral services will be held at 3 pm. The Rev. Carl Chamberland of the Brushton Methodist Church will be presiding. Interment will commence in the Steven's Cemetery, Brandon.
