Obituary of Dean Michael Yaddow

BOMBAY – Dean Michael Yaddow age 85, passed away July 4, 2022, at the Fletcher Allen Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Susan and a proud father to Amy and a grandfather to Tyler and Bryant. Dean was born in Bombay the son to the late Grace French on October 16, 1936. He graduated from Salmon River School in 1955 and attended Morrisville College. On August 2, 1969, he united into marriage with Susan Wilson at St. Mary's Church, Ft Covington were the Fr. Robillard presided. He owned and operated his own Auto body repair shop for many years in Bombay. Dean was a kind and gentle man who loved people. No matter where he went, he made friends and created laughter. He was somewhat set in his ways, yet patient. He would listen to you and hear you out; then give advice whether or not you wanted it. He was a giver. He never liked to receive. He had a hard time learning that it was okay to receive now and then in order to allow others to experience the joy of giving. Dean was an inspiration to many and always willing to take time, no matter how busy he was, he was always there to help anyone in need. Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of his wife of 52 years Susan, a daughter Amy Denton of Plattsburgh, two grandsons Tyler Denton of Burlington, Vt, Bryant Denton of Cambridge, MA, two sisters-in-laws Judy Wilson and Kathy (Lloyd) Goodnow of Richmond, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday (July 8th) at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Ft. Covington. Interment will commence in St. Joseph's Cemetery Bombay. Dean will be missed not only by his family and close friends, but also by the many people whose lives he touched in his 85 years. May he rest in peace.
