Obituary of Marie M. Reil

DICKINSON CENTER – Marie M. (Boivin) Reil age 84 passed away Sunday evening (Sept. 4, 2022). She was being comforted and loved by her family. Friends are invited to call at the Flint Funeral Home Sunday (Sept 11th) from 2-4 and 6-8. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Brushton with the Rev. Raymond Moreau presiding. Marie was born in Derby, Vermont the daughter of the late Felix & Obeline (Levigne) Boivin. She was educated in Turners Falls, Mass. On June 25 Marie united into marriage with Robert Reil at the St. Mary's Church, Turners Falls, Mass. At one time she was employed with the Douglas Toy Company, Keene, NH, Bridgeport Metals, Hinsdale, NH, later assisted handicap adults, which she enjoyed and retired from. As a military wife she supported her husband and during his military duty she lived in France. She loved gardening, crocheting, bowling, and listening to country music. Marie embraced the moments as she spent time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of her husband of 67 years Robert, and her children Anne-Marie (Jim) Pasquarelli of New Hampshire, Regina (John) Pasquarelli of NH, Donna (William) Wood of New York, Kristina (Scott) Ostroski of NY. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one on the way. Her siblings Reginald Boivin, Dennis Boivin, Yvonne (Richard) Satrowski all of Massachusetts, and Jeannine Lafountain of Florida survive her. Besides her parents she is predeceased by a daughter Charlene Renae on Sept 19, 1971, a granddaughter Brittney Ostroski who passed Aug. 24, 2009, a brother Robert "Lefty" Boivin and a sister Shirley Bechard.
