Obituary of June F. Niles

OCALA FLORIDA - June F. Niles age 82 passed away Monday (November 7, 2022) at Estelle's House under the care of Hospice. June was formally of Moira until moving in with her sister Dianne in 2018. June was born in Moira October 20,1940 the daughter of the late Orin and Marjorie (Chenier) Niles. She attended school in Moira before moving to Wingdale NY, where she was employed at Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center as a Therapy Aide up until her retirement in the mid 1980's. June enjoyed relaxing at a game of bingo, shopping, scratching lotto tickets or working on a ceramics project. She was an avid doll collector and had a sweet tooth for Milky Way chocolate bars. Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of her surviving son and daughter in law, Orin (Miche'al) Niles of Wingdale NY, and her three grandsons: Jonathan (Ondine) Niles of Elizaville NY, Ryan Savoy of Dover Plains, NY, Stephen Belch of Westfield Massachusetts. June is also survived by her two sisters: Dianne Niles of Ocala FL, Bonny Niles of Ocala FL, two brothers Kenneth Niles of Moira NY, Guy Niles of Parishville NY and a sister-in-law Patricia Niles of Bombay NY. As well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends and lifelong friends who have become family. Besides her parents, June was predeceased by her sister Ruth Henderson, brother George Niles and great granddaughter Finley Niles. Friends are invited to call at the Flint Funeral Home, Moira on Friday (November 18) from 4-7. Funeral services celebrating June's life will be held Saturday morning (November 19) at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow. The Family would like to thank each member on staff at the Marion County Hospice Estelle House (Ocala FL) for the loving care provided to June in her final days.
