BRUSHTON - Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Pickering (Martin), of John hill Road, Brushton, died at the age of 90, November 20, 2022, at her home where she was under the care of her family and Hospice of North Country, Malone. A time of visitation will be held Saturday morning (Nov. 26th) from 9- 10:45 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church, North Bangor where Betty's funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Betty will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband William. Born on March 17, 1932, in Brandon. She was the daughter of Arthur and Mildred Martin, who predeceased her. She married William Eugene Pickering on November 27, 1950, who predeceased her. She was a loving mother of 12 children. Sandra Pickering of Brushton, Rita (William) LaPier of Arizona, Roger (Rayonna) Pickering, of Brushton, David (Darlene) Pickering of North Bangor, Pamela (Lonney) Martin of Brushton, Rodney Pickering of Arizona, Debbie (David) Tower Dickinson Center, Jane (David) Richards of Vermont, whom all Survive her. Besides her Husband, William E. Pickering, she was also predeceased by her sons, Randy, Peter. Lyle, and Kevin Pickering. She was also predeceased by her many siblings, and sister in-laws/ brother in-laws. Betty also leaves behind her 119 grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great- great - grandchildren and many nieces, nephews along with her remaining sister in-law, Janice (Martin) Neal of Florida. Her hobbies were gardening, reading, sewing, crocheting and making blankets. Her greatest love was caring for her family. Her priority in life was sharing her love and wisdom with all. The abundance of love she had for her family and friends was endless. She loved everyone equally to make us all feel special! I hope that we see the world as she did because we know a life with love is a life that has been lived. Anyone who would like to make donations, may choose the charity of your choice in her name.
